Friends, as someone who has run a convention and other events for years, I feel your pain and made this panel to help inspire others to make our lives easier! Well, and to teach your lovely patrons the value of social skills and actually being a respectful friggin human being while at an event sponsored by and attended by tons of other people!This panel is a comprehensive guide to being well-behaved in public while in cosplay or when representing a convention. It is nothing new for conventions to suffer a negative view in the public eye due to something that patrons have done in the heat of the moment, such as transforming into giant lizards and eating the host facility.This informative panel exists to bring awareness to good etiquette & maturity both in the convention setting & while out in view of a scrutinizing public.

When we all behave well, we improve the community at large, our peers, families, etc.Some topics covered: flag etiquette, respecting con property & staff, courtesy, language in public where there may be children, & more. Basically, if it involves having the need for developed social skills (that we know a great many con attendees, and unfortunately, real world adults, lack), we’re going to cover it and why it is just so stinkin important to practice!
